Recover abandoned carts inside PrestaShop—without promising a fake recovery rate.
NP Revenue Recovery Pro automates eligible recovery email, restores the saved cart through a signed link, enforces frequency and coupon limits, and reports attributed outcomes net of refunds where data is available. Everything runs in your store through your own mail transport.

Restore the saved cart through a signed action
The localized email shows the saved items, optional bounded coupon, signed return-to-cart action and a visible one-click unsubscribe.
- Saved cart contents are visible before the return action.
- Coupon use is optional and constrained by campaign budget.
- One-click unsubscribe travels with the same message.

Define eligibility, frequency and the conditions that stop sending
The campaign builder bounds each sequence with audience, quiet-hour, frequency, purchase, unsubscribe, coupon and budget controls.
- Stop-on-purchase and stop-on-unsubscribe are enforced.
- Quiet-hour sends are requeued rather than silently dropped.
- Optional coupons are checked against a campaign budget cap.

Read attributed outcomes and setup health—not a forecast
The operating dashboard keeps recoverable-cart activity, attributed orders, refund-aware revenue and setup status in one view.
- Revenue is labelled attributed and is never presented as guaranteed uplift.
- Refunds are netted where the required order data is available.
- Cron, mail transport and hook health remain visible.

Manual follow-up, a self-hosted module or an external email platform?
Choose the operating model before comparing feature labels. Automation, data flow, measurement and ongoing cost differ more than the word “recovery” suggests.
| Decision point | Core / manual process | NP Revenue Recovery Pro | Hosted email platform |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating model | Staff checks carts and follows up with separate tools | Module, scheduler and evidence inside PrestaShop | Store connector plus vendor-hosted automation |
| Customer and cart data | Depends on each tool and export | Recovery records stay in the shop database | Processed in vendor infrastructure under its terms |
| Automation and guardrails | Procedural and easy to apply inconsistently | Token-gated cron, caps, quiet hours and stop rules | Varies by workflow builder and plan |
| Cart restoration | Requires a separate safe link or customer instructions | Signed one-click restoration of the saved snapshot | Depends on connector and cart-sync implementation |
| Outcome measurement | Usually assembled from separate records | Disclosed attribution, with refund netting where available | Vendor attribution model and retention rules |
| Cost model | Staff time plus the tools used | €179 one-time licence; your hosting and mail transport | Recurring contract, often linked to contacts or sends |
NP Revenue Recovery facts refer to release 1.2.0. Core behavior depends on the store and theme; hosted-platform features, processors and limits depend on the exact vendor plan. Validate the complete stack on staging.
Licence break-even threshold
Enter the final order value after discounts and the contribution margin after variable costs. We calculate only how many attributed orders would cover €179.
This threshold says nothing about whether those orders will occur. It only divides the licence cost by your entered contribution.
Arithmetic, not a recovery or revenue forecast. Actual results may be zero and depend on eligible carts, consent, deliverability, pricing and customer behavior. Excludes VAT, hosting, setup time and mail transport.
Prove the recovery loop before enabling live sends
A cart-recovery module touches customer data, mail delivery, coupons and attribution. Test with controlled accounts and a staging mail sink before contacting real customers.
Mail delivery
Use a staging recipient to verify sender identity, HTML, images, links and unsubscribe before any real audience.
Cron and queue
Run the token-gated job on a controlled schedule and confirm due, requeued, sent and failed states.
Eligibility
Test the exact customer, consent, shop, language and product rules you intend to use. The merchant owns the policy.
Signed restore
Open the real test email, restore the saved cart and verify combinations, quantities, stock and expired-link behavior.
Stop conditions
Complete a purchase and unsubscribe in separate tests; later sends must be suppressed exactly as configured.
Attribution and refunds
Place a controlled recovered order, then refund it, and confirm how both events appear in the disclosed model.
Compare the cart-recovery job with Klaviyo honestly.
NP Revenue Recovery is not a full Klaviyo replacement. Compare it only when cart recovery and win-back are the job you want to keep inside PrestaShop.
PrestaShop abandoned-cart module FAQ
- What does a PrestaShop abandoned-cart module do?
- It identifies carts that meet configured abandonment and eligibility rules, schedules follow-up, gives the shopper a way back to the saved cart and records later outcomes. Exact scope varies: check automation, consent controls, cart restoration, stop rules, coupons and attribution separately.
- How much revenue will NP Revenue Recovery Pro recover?
- No specific amount or rate can be guaranteed. Results depend on eligible traffic, pricing, consent, deliverability and customer behavior. The module reports attributed recovered orders and nets refunds where the required data is available; the calculator on this page is only a break-even threshold, not a forecast.
- Does the module make abandoned-cart email legally compliant?
- No module can decide your lawful basis or policy for you. NP Revenue Recovery Pro provides eligibility controls, frequency caps, one-click unsubscribe, local records and PrestaShop export/erasure hooks, but the merchant remains responsible for configuration, notices, retention and applicable law. This is not legal advice.
- Does it work with PrestaShop 9?
- Release 1.2.0 ships from one codebase for PrestaShop 8 and 9, and the product release process exercises install, recovery workflow and uninstall on both branches. The exact highest tested patch is not claimed on this page; verify your patch, theme, overrides and mail transport on staging before production.
- Is a cron job required?
- Yes for unattended scheduled sending. The module exposes a token-gated recovery URL for your server scheduler or hosting task tool, plus a manual run for controlled testing. Monitor the cron and mail transport rather than assuming automation is healthy forever.
- Are recovery coupons required?
- No. Coupons are optional. When enabled, they are real PrestaShop cart rules and can be bounded by a per-campaign budget cap. Test stacking, tax, shipping, minimum order, currency and expiry behavior with your other promotion modules.
- Does it automatically send WhatsApp messages?
- No. It composes wa.me click-to-chat recovery links for the merchant to send manually. It does not automate WhatsApp messaging, use the WhatsApp API or promise delivery through that channel.
- Does this replace Klaviyo or a full marketing platform?
- No. It covers abandoned-cart recovery and shipped win-back inside PrestaShop. A full marketing platform provides broader lifecycle flows, segmentation and channels. Keep that platform if you use those capabilities; compare only the recovery job and let both systems coexist if that is the cleanest setup.
