Switch between the isolated PS8/PS9 lifecycle and the merchant-controlled first-run path. Every number below comes from the exact ZIP prepared for delivery.
The same delivery ZIP completed the full lifecycle.
The test ran on a disposable clone with its own database and copied shop runtime. Disable was required to preserve owned data; uninstall was required to remove it.
- 1Remove the cloned baseline module state
- 2Install the exact signed-off ZIP and create all owned resources
- 3Disable the module while preserving its tables, settings and history
- 4Re-enable it with the tab, hooks and configuration still intact
- 5Uninstall cleanly and remove owned tables, configuration and admin tab

Fixture decision
Eligible for the email path
The fixture passes timing, eligibility and frequency checks. Coupon policy is evaluated separately.

A threshold, not a forecast. Actual recovery can be zero and depends on eligible carts, consent, deliverability, pricing and customer behaviour.
What this fixture proves
The exact 1.3.0 package contains quiet-hour requeueing, a temporary frequency-cap retry, local opt-out checks, enforced stop rules and coupon-budget protection. This fixture sends no email, inspects no store and makes no revenue or legal-compliance promise.

See what must be ready before the first recovery send
The setup station turns installation into three visible jobs: enable local cart tracking, create a bounded campaign and connect the token-gated scheduler.
- Cart-scan, mail transport, hooks and saved-campaign status are visible.
- Email automation and manual WhatsApp click-to-chat stay clearly separated.
- The cron step calls out the secret token and hosting task explicitly.
This tour uses real product captures and documented behavior. It is not a performance benchmark or a promise of storewide uplift.

NP Revenue Recovery Pro brings abandoned-cart recovery inside PrestaShop — no external email SaaS, no per-contact fee, and your customer data never leaves your store.
When a shopper abandons a cart, the module sends a recovery email containing a signed, tamper-evident link that restores their exact saved cart in one click and carries a clear one-click unsubscribe. Sends run automatically on a token-gated cron with a chunked, multishop runner — not a button someone has to remember to press.
Every send passes enforced guardrails: a per-customer frequency cap, quiet hours (a send landing inside the window is requeued, never dropped), and no silent stacking with an active NP Rewards Pro voucher. Recovery coupons are optional and issued as real PrestaShop cart rules, bounded by a per-campaign budget cap that is checked before a coupon is ever created.
A ROI dashboard reports recovered carts and recovered revenue net of refunds (where the data is available) with a disclosed attribution model — measured results, never an invented percentage. WhatsApp recovery is supported as merchant-sent click-to-chat (wa.me) links, not automated messages.
Built from one codebase for PrestaShop 8 and 9, localized in 7 languages (EN/ES/FR/DE/IT/PT/NL) for both the back office and the customer-facing email and recovery page, with GDPR export and erasure hooks and an orphan-free uninstall that removes every cart rule it issued.
What it does
- Signed, one-click cart restore — the recovery link verifies a tamper-evident signature and rebuilds the shopper's exact saved cart, with a clear one-click unsubscribe.
- Automatic scheduler — a token-gated cron and a chunked, multishop runner process due carts on a schedule. A manual "send due now" action is also available.
- Enforced guardrails — per-customer frequency cap, quiet hours (sends inside the window are requeued, not dropped), and no silent stacking with an active NP Rewards Pro voucher.
- Optional coupons with a budget cap — recovery coupons are real PrestaShop cart rules, bounded by a per-campaign budget cap checked before a coupon is created.
- Refund-net ROI dashboard — recovered carts and recovered revenue net of refunds (where available), with a disclosed attribution model. Measured results, no invented percentage.
- Win-back of lapsed customers (1.1) — re-engage customers with no valid order in a configurable number of days (7–730), reusing the same scheduler, guardrails, optional budget-capped coupons and one-click unsubscribe. A recovered order is credited only on a real win-back link click within the window — no guaranteed reactivation rate.
- Local-first and GDPR-friendly — cart snapshots, recovery events, opt-out markers and coupon codes stay in your PrestaShop database; the only egress is your own mail transport. GDPR export and erasure hooks included.
- WhatsApp click-to-chat links — the module composes wa.me recovery links for the merchant to send manually. It does not send automated WhatsApp messages and needs no API. (WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.)
- PrestaShop 8 and 9 from one codebase (ps_versions_compliancy 8.0.0–9.99.99), localized in 7 languages (EN/ES/FR/DE/IT/PT/NL) across the back office, the recovery email, and the storefront recovery page. Orphan-free uninstall.
In the wild
Who this is for
Best for · PrestaShop merchants who want recovery in-house, not in a SaaS
Stores that do not want to export customer emails to a per-contact email platform just to chase abandoned carts. Everything runs inside PrestaShop, through your own mail transport, and the customer data never leaves your database — a cleaner GDPR story and no growing monthly bill as your list grows.
Best for · merchants who want the recovery to run itself, safely
Once the cron is wired, the scheduler sends due recovery emails on its own — but inside guardrails you control: frequency cap so you never over-message, quiet hours so nothing sends at 3am, and a coupon budget cap so a campaign cannot overspend. Unsubscribe is one click and is honored on every later send.
Not for · merchants who need back-in-stock or wishlist nudges today
Today the module covers abandoned-cart recovery and win-back of lapsed customers (1.1). Back-in-stock alerts and wishlist nudges are on the roadmap and intentionally disabled, labelled as such in the back office. If those two are must-haves right now, this release will not cover them — we would rather say so than over-promise.

Why neuroplugin
- Why honest numbers instead of "recover up to 30%"?
- The category over-promises with uplift figures nobody can guarantee. We refuse to: recovery depends on your traffic, pricing, deliverability, consent and customer behaviour, so we never quote a rate. Instead the dashboard shows what was actually recovered, net of refunds, with a disclosed attribution model. Measured honesty is the brand, and it keeps you out of refund disputes built on a promise no module can keep.
- Why in-PrestaShop instead of a recovery SaaS?
- A recovery SaaS means exporting your customers to a third party and paying per contact forever. NP Revenue Recovery Pro runs the whole loop — snapshot, email, signed cart restore, coupons, attribution — inside PrestaShop, through your own mail transport, with the data staying in your database. One-time license, cleaner GDPR posture, and no bill that scales with your list.
- Why keep release 1.3.0 narrow and inspectable?
- Release 1.3.0 deliberately covers two complete jobs: abandoned-cart recovery and the shipped win-back path. The exact package exercised installation, scheduler controls, guardrails, coupons, attribution, localization, disable/re-enable and clean uninstall on isolated PS8 and PS9 clones. Back-in-stock and wishlist nudges remain clearly labelled roadmap items, so nobody buys this release for an unfinished promise.
By the numbers
Questions answered
- How much of my abandoned carts will this recover?
- Recovery results depend on your traffic, catalog, pricing, email deliverability, consent, and customer behaviour. NP Revenue Recovery Pro does not guarantee any specific recovery rate or revenue amount. What it does give you is a transparent ROI dashboard that shows the carts and revenue it actually recovered, net of refunds where the data is available — measured results, not a projection.
- Does it send automated WhatsApp messages?
- No. The module generates WhatsApp click-to-chat (wa.me) recovery links that you, the merchant, send manually. It does not connect to the WhatsApp Business API and does not send automated messages — so there is no API setup, no Meta approval, and no risk of policy violations on your account. Email is the automated channel; WhatsApp is a manual, human-sent option. (WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.)
- Will recovery coupons erode my margin?
- Coupons are optional — you can recover carts with no discount at all. When you do issue one, it is a real PrestaShop cart rule bounded by a configurable per-campaign budget cap that the module checks before creating the coupon, so a campaign cannot spend past the ceiling you set. The dashboard tracks coupon cost against recovered revenue so you can see the net.
- Does this replace Klaviyo / Brevo / Omnisend?
- No — it works inside PrestaShop alongside your existing email setup. It is focused on abandoned-cart recovery with cart restore, coupons, guardrails and a ROI dashboard, sending through your store's own mail transport. It is not a full marketing-automation suite, and it coexists with whatever broadcast/newsletter tool you already use.
- Does it work on PrestaShop 9?
- Yes. The module ships from a single codebase for PS8 and PS9 (ps_versions_compliancy 8.0.0–9.99.99), with explicit handling of PS9 changes such as the removed Tools::displayPrice and the auto-LIMIT behaviour of Db::getRow/getValue. A full install → exercise → uninstall cycle is verified on PrestaShop 8.2.x and PrestaShop 9 before each release.
- Can you win back lapsed customers or send back-in-stock alerts?
- Win-back has been included since 1.1.0: re-engage customers who have no valid order in a configurable number of days (7–730), reusing the same scheduler, send guardrails, optional budget-capped coupons and one-click unsubscribe. It runs behind its own enable switch and an active win-back campaign, and a recovered order is credited only when the customer actually clicked a win-back link within the window — no guaranteed reactivation rate. Back-in-stock alerts and wishlist nudges remain on the roadmap and are labelled as such in the back office.
- Is the customer-facing side localized?
- Yes. The back-office UI, the transactional recovery email (subject, body, coupon, footer, unsubscribe), and the storefront recovery page are localized in 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch. The recipient gets the email in their own language.
- What does the license include?
- A lifetime license for one PrestaShop installation (multistore allowed within one PrestaShop multistore instance), with 12 months of updates and support from purchase. A future major version is a paid upgrade. The price is €179, ex-VAT; VAT is added at checkout. A 14-day refund applies only if the module fails to install on a vanilla supported PrestaShop 8 or 9 — not for recovery results.
