Evidence boundary

This fixture proves the interaction model, not latency, ranking quality on your catalogue, sales lift or compatibility with every theme. Release 1.3.2 + 1.0.1 was exercised on WordPress 6.9.4, WooCommerce 10.7.0, Storefront 4.6.2 and PHP 8.2.

0 of 4 answered
01 · VersionScope gateMy store runs WordPress 6.2+ and WooCommerce 7.0 through the published tested maximum of 10.7.

Why it matters: Core 1.3.2 declares WordPress 6.2 and WooCommerce 7.0 as its minimums; release QA ran on WordPress 6.9.4 and WooCommerce 10.7.0.

02 · Operating modelScope gateI want the search index, analytics and ranking workload inside my WordPress database and hosting, without an external search SaaS.

Why it matters: NP Search is self-hosted. That avoids per-request search billing but makes database capacity, cache behaviour and monitoring the merchant’s responsibility.

03 · Staging testScope gateI can test theme search entry points, representative queries, facets, variable products, mobile behaviour and add-to-cart on staging.

Why it matters: Storefront 4.6.2 is the verified theme. Custom themes, headers and catalogue variation patterns can change the integration and are not covered by a universal-compatibility claim.

04 · Install & rollbackScope gateI can extract the protected delivery ZIP, install Core first and Pro second, and keep a tested backup and rollback path.

Why it matters: The outer download is not an installable WordPress plugin. Release QA verified clean install, settings-preserving upgrade and rollback with the two inner packages.

The source-traceable NP Search Core 1.3.2 package builds and serves its product index inside the merchant's WordPress database. It provides centered, fullscreen and dropdown search layers; typo recovery; synonym groups; category, brand, attribute, price and availability facets; direct add-to-cart; and search plus zero-result analytics.

NP Search Pro 1.0.1 is a separate add-on for pin, boost, bury, redirect and banner rules, per-shopper personalization, conversion-aware ranking and search-attributed revenue. One protected download contains the two installable ZIPs: extract it, install Core first, then Pro. Both packages come from source commit 1199756 and passed isolated clean install, upgrade, rollback and six-locale runtime checks. That is release QA, not proof for every store; test custom themes and variable products on staging before production.

Features

What it does

  • Three merchant-selectable search layers: centered, fullscreen and dropdown.
  • Core: typo recovery, synonym groups, facets and result add-to-cart.
  • Search and zero-result analytics stored in the merchant database.
  • Pro keeps merchandising, personalization, conversion-aware ranking and revenue attribution explicitly separate.
  • No external search SaaS or per-request billing in the verified candidate.

Fit

Who this is for

✓ Right fit

Best for native WooCommerce catalogues

Stores that want search, facets and analytics computed on their own WordPress installation.

✓ Right fit

Best when staging is available

Use staging to verify theme integration, variable products, index behavior and rollback before production.

✓ Right fit

Not a fit for external search requirements

If cross-store machine learning or a managed external index is mandatory, evaluate a hosted search service instead.

FAQ

Questions answered

Can I buy it today?
Yes. After payment, you receive a receipt, one license and an email with a protected download. Extract the outer ZIP, then install Core 1.3.2 first and Pro 1.0.1 second.
Does product data leave my server?
The verified candidate builds its index and computes Core/Pro search behavior in the store database; it does not require an external search index. This architecture does not by itself establish legal compliance—review your store data, retention and notices.
Will it work with my theme?
The current matrix passed on Storefront 4.6.2. Other themes and custom search headers are reviewed on staging; universal compatibility is not claimed.
Does it support variable products?
Core includes an inline variation picker with per-variation price and stock. Because catalogues differ, verify your variation patterns on staging before production.
Is the admin fully translated?
Yes for the shipped Core 1.3.2 and Pro 1.0.1 interface strings in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch and European Portuguese. Each compiled catalogue passed completeness checks and WordPress runtime switching without English fallback; WordPress and WooCommerce menus still depend on their own installed language packs.
What should I test before production?
Verify your theme header, variable-product patterns, caching, index rebuild and rollback on staging. Storefront 4.6.2 is the verified theme; universal theme compatibility is not claimed.
