2. Clean Install

Open Module Manager

Log in to your PrestaShop back office and go to Modules – Module Manager.

Upload the ZIP

Upload seopro-2.2.1.zip and install NP SEO Pro.

Confirm Version

Confirm the module is active and reports version 2.2.1.

Smoke Test

Open the homepage, a category page, a product page, /sitemap.xml, and /html-sitemap.

3. Upgrade From 2.2.0

  1. Back up your database and the existing modules/seopro directory.
  2. Upload seopro-2.2.1.zip in Module Manager or replace the module source with the package contents.
  3. Run the PrestaShop module upgrade action.
  4. Confirm the module table version is 2.2.1.
  5. Regenerate the XML sitemap and refresh robots.txt from the Sitemap or Settings screen.
  6. Review the 404 Monitor retention setting after upgrade.

4. First Configuration

Complete store identity, social profile, and default metadata in Settings.
Generate the first XML sitemap and confirm the root /sitemap.xml URL.
Review robots.txt and keep Allow: /upload/seopro_sitemap/ when the sitemap upload alias is used.
Enable Product structured data ownership only if your theme or another module is not already outputting Product JSON-LD.
Keep runtime AI disabled until your BYOK provider, budget, token cap, and people-first policy are configured.
