Back up and stage
Install the exact package on staging first. Confirm the shop, theme, checkout variant and payment modules that must be tested.

Choose the checkout mode
Use Replace for the module-owned one-page experience or Restyle to preserve the native flow. The coverage label changes with the mode.

Match the store brand
Choose the PrestaShop-balanced, WooCommerce-inspired or Shopify-inspired preset, then configure typography, width, density, summary surface, logo, colors, trust and fields. Use the preview, then test the real storefront.

Connect tax compatibility only when needed
Leave the Spanish retailer declaration off unless a compatible tax-and-invoice adapter is installed and verified. Confirm eligible goods, persisted totals, later mutations and the separate invoice line in staging.

Run a real test order
Exercise mobile, addresses, carriers, taxes, discounts and each enabled gateway. Then review Sentinel coverage; do not treat missing incidents as a health guarantee.
